Saw Night Watch last night with robo, irishman, tree witch, and Sassy. Very cool flick, all must see. Today, I was googling around and came up with the following links to follow up the movie if interested:
Fox Searchlight is releasing a theatrical version July 29; see the fox searchlight website (warning lots of flash). Also, the movie is based on a trilogy written by Sergey Lukyanenko (Night Watch, Day Watch, and Dusk Watch). You can get the Night Watch and Day Watch online (in Russian… Irishman? some practice for you?) on the author's website: http://www.rusf.ru/lukian/english/index.htm (http://www.rusf.ru/lukian/english/booklist.htm for all his books online).
Author's blog: http://www.livejournal.com/users/doctor_livsy/
and project to translate his works:

Apparently he's a hot shit Russian SciFi author who hasn't been translated much (surprise surprise — can we please have at least the Brothers Strugatsky republished?)
