To: Brevet Majors Leon
Muzetti & AJ MacGruder Gentlemen, As you may have already heard, Colonel Donovan has appointed me to oversee operations for Detachment 66 in his stead, now that the COI is expanding. He has briefed me extensively on the history and nature of the operations of this agency, and impressed upon me its importance and the need for discretion about Detachment 66's mission. That said, I feel it necessary to point out that I am not William Donovan. Although Mr. Donovan will be giving our unit his "close, personal attention" as often as possible, I am in charge of these operations now, and will run them accordingly. Many of the "excesses" that you and the other agents have enjoyed thus far will no longer be tolerated, particularly the disregard you've shown for the top secret nature of our agency. You and your fellow agents will carry out your missions, you will keep your actions and the information you find discrete, and you will not embarrass me or this administration. We have too many enemies, within and without our government, for this agency's work to be compromised. If any of this is unclear to you or the others, feel free to see me personally for clarification. Harvey W. Olsen Bd:tp
