Agents Doon-Green, Watts, and O'Neil, accompanied by prisoner of war Kurt Tolle, unofficially responded to a hidden message from AsA prisoner of war Jurgen Frischmilch, imprisoned at Camp Lennox in Lime, Oregon.

The officers and guards in the camp had been replaced by locals from Lime, who were 100+ year old "iron vampires", crazed cannibal undead who were using the nearby Top Hat silver mine as a horrifying slaughterhouse. A dozen of the monsters were killed, but at least 80 escaped into the Eagle Cap wilderness.

Agent O'Neil was critically injured in a gun battle on Lime's main street, but is expected to recover. The other agents, and Tolle, were also hurt. Shemuel Lasssen, leader of the iron vampires (who masqueraded as Major Snow), was thought to have been killed at the Top Hat, but his fate is uncertain.
