Macgruder, Kessel, and Eldridge were sent in to assault a nazi weather station in eastern Greenland. Weather control experiments had gone awry, causing a massive icequake that opened a long-frozen hive of extradimensional creatures, the same sort summoned by GW Kern in 1940 beneath Paris. Investigating, with the hope of rescuing downed American flyers, the DET66 team was abducted, tortured, and altered in strange and terrible ways. They managed to escape, losing three of their number to the ice and monsters. With them was Kurt Tolle, an AsA agent who had witnessed the Paris events first hand. Now we are not sure what to do with the recovering team, who are vastly changed men.
