STANDARD DET66 AGENT EQUIPMENT

Domestic DET-66 operative kit:

• 0SS Special Agent credentials (or alternately, FBI credentials, as needed)
• Mind screen liner, fits under standard fedora or army overseas cap
• M1911A1 .45 pistol with waist or shoulder holster
• 1 magazine of regular FMJ ammunition, 1 magazine of special ammunition*

• 1 Remington 870 shotgun 18 rounds #4 Special buckshot* (Silver and lead mix)

Overseas DET-66 operative kit:

• Full infantry kit, including M1 Garand or M1A1 carbine, musette bag, entrenching tool, gas mask, etc.
• Adjutant General credentials
• M1 helmet with mind screen liner
• M1911A1 .45 pistol with holster
• 1 magazine of regular FMJ ammunition, 1 magazine of special ammunition

A field team will also be issued a sea bag containing:

• 1 Thompson sub-machinegun
• 2 20 round magazines of regular FMJ ammunition, 1 of special
• Medical kit

*Special ammunition consists of silver-jacketed bullets with hemlock cores. These rounds do 1 point of damage rather than 2, because they have to be light-loaded to accommodate the unusual bullet which tends to break up after being fired with a normal load. The wooden cores can be removed and replaced with other substances.
