To: LT COL Olsen OSS/D66 Happy new year! Word just came down that Tolle is to be processed as a prisoner of war. I'd suggest we amend his status to "enemy alien" or the like and keep him here in Washington. Tolle is an amiable fellow, speaks fluent English, he's been thoroughly debriefed, and he's no nazi. He's given us valuable intelligence on the AsA and I think the least we could do is keep him out of a POW cage for the duration. If I had my way, I'd naturalize him and make him a DET-66 field operative, but that might not be politically expedient.
